OpenDOS Logo OpenDOS Mailing Lists

OpenDOS has several mailing lists which provide an excellent source of information of all kind about the operating system. All lists are managed by a listserver installed on DJ Delorie's server. Click here to skip the description part and jump directly to the instructions on how to subscribe. The discussion lists currently available are:

opendos
this list is meant for all users of OpenDOS. Questions and answers posted to this list should be related to all general aspects of OpenDOS.

opendos-developer
on this list meet all programmers, developers programming for/with OpenDOS. The list is rather more specialized than opendos and a certainl level of understandig of computer programming and operating system issues is assumed.

opendos-support
this is the OpenDOS Tech Support line. You can ask here all questions you'd ask when calling to your company's hotline. The advantage of opendos-support is that it is active 24H - there are always people around the world who can answe r your question almost immediately.

In addition tho the lists mentioned above, there are several one-way ones. These are meant to help you deal with the heavy traffic on discussion groups. The digest lists come in two flavors - weekly and daily . The daily lists are always chunked into packages not larger than 50 kb, weekly digests may be slightly larger. The following digests are available:

opendos-weekly
